Designed with comfort, relaxation and privacy in mind, each canvas retreat, with its natural colours, blends effortlessly into the surrounding environment. This is your chance to experience luxury camping at its finest.
Beautiful one-off pieces of furniture, soft solar lighting, carefully selected cushions and rugs combine to create a restful environment in which to unwind, either inside the tent, or in your shaded outdoor seating area. A great night’s sleep is guaranteed in our six foot wide, handmade beds for the adults, and proper beds for the children too! Lie back, listen to the crickets and experience the sense of well-being that sleeping in fresh air brings you. The practical aspects of your stay have not been overlooked either. There’s a wardrobe, with plenty of storage space, extra blankets and netted windows. All bedding and towels are provided (except pool towels).Each tent has it’s own unique characteristics so please get in touch to discuss the best tent for your holiday.
Update 02/06/23: The August calendar is now very full but there IS still availability. If you cannot find the dates and tents you want using our online booking system please do get in touch. It might be possible to still join us by moving tents mid stay, or by being flexible on dates by 1 or 2 nights.

A spacious safari lodge with extra bell tent bedroom. Ideal for large families or groups. There is a dry toilet inside the main tent and the main camp facilities are just a short walk away. With it’s large shaded veranda and views across the natural pool, Maasai Mara is one of Le Camp’s most popular tents with regular guests.

Meru
Meru is a spacious, beautifully decorated safari tent for 2 adults and up to 3 children. Many of the furnishings have been sourced locally, second hand from French farmhouses and country homes. The pièce de résistance is a beautiful victorian washstand which really makes Meru’s ensuite extra special.

Mount Kenya
Mount Kenya is situated on a private plateau at the very top of Le Camp. Guests staying in Mount Kenya can cook in their own fully equipped outdoor kitchen, and shower under the trees while soaking in the view. Apart from an incoming mains water supply, Mount Kenya is off-grid, with solar power and a composting toilet.

The booking shall only be effective upon receipt of (i) a deposit of 30 % of the total price of the stay. A booking option made by telephone must be confirmed within 8 days in writing, accompanied by the deposit.
For renting a lodge tent, the balance shall be paid 30 days before the date of arrival. In the event of non-compliance with this payment deadline, the Camp Management reserves the right to cancel the stay without return of the deposit.
The payment methods are bank transfer, online credit card, cash, french check.
Check in from 4 pm and check-out before 10 am.
No discount will be granted in case of late arrival or early departure.
A cheque deposit of 200 € per tent lodge will be required in the case of a group reservation or privatization of the campsite.
These deposits are not cashed and shall be restored to you at the time of departure after checking that the condition of the premises is satisfactory.
You undertake to read and comply with the rules and regulations available at the entrance of the domain as well as inside any property. Non-compliance with the rules and regulations shall result in your eviction without refund and may give rise to damages.
You have a right of access to your personal data. So if however you wish to consult, rectify and / or delete your data, just send us an email to info@lecamp.co.uk, or a mail by Post to Le Camp, 842 Route de la Nauque, Arnac, 82330 VAREN. Your request will be processed as soon as possible.
During your stay on our campsite, we may take photos of you or film you for future advertising. If you don’t want, you must inform reception in writing when arriving.
We reserve the right to refuse any reservation for just causes (article L; 122-1 of the French Code de la consummation).
We reserve the right to evict without refund any person for theft, material damages, night-time disturbances or any other just causes. The management declines all responsability in case of theft, losse or damages of any kind during your stay.
